V94's journey began in early 2022, amidst the turmoil of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, prompting us to ask the question: how can we help Ukraine in a meaningful way? At the beginning of 2023, we saw an opportunity to help on the ground in the reconstruction of Ukraine and began our work. Our focus is initially to meet the need for housing for embassies, UN staff, NGOs, the EU and to investigate the possibilities of starting vocational training in the construction sector.
Spending the autumn in Kyiv was an eye-opener We saw for ourselves the great need for qualified labor in the construction sector and the lack of housing for expats. In the event of an armistice, the labor shortage will be overwhelming, with tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of war veterans who may need retraining to return to a normal life. We are not going to wait for the war to end, we have already started the process today. We have spent a lot of time and energy building an organization and structure on site in Kyiv. Now is the time to launch the projects..
